Sketch 101: Writing Basics (DIGITAL EDITION!)

  • 414 East 9th Street Tucson, AZ, 85705 United States (map)

Over six weeks, students will learn the basics of writing comedy sketches. We will discuss: generating comedic ideas, formulating with a premise, the game of the sketch and sketch revision. Students will write smart two person scenes grounded in reality, and have fun doing it under the TIM Comedy Philosophy!

This will be a Digital Correspondence version of the class. Students will get one content module per week with reading and exercises to complete. There will be a synchronous digital meeting of the class weekly on Tuesday nights at 6 pm. Students will receive weekly feedback from the instructor on writing assignments for the class.
